Anthony Power Beams®
The Power Beam® is a superior glued laminated beam and header for use where reliable engineered wood applications are required. The 3-1/2″ and 5-1/2″ widths readily match 2×4 and 2×6 wall framing.
The Power Beam® depths also match all joist, truss, LVL, PSL, and I-joist floor or roof framing. The 7″ Power Beam® (2800F) is for longer spans and heavier loading. Depths go up to 28 7/8″. The Power Beam® uses only readily-available Southern Pine lumber, recognized through extensive testing as the strongest lumber resource available.
Anthony Power Preserved Beams
Anthony Power Preserved Glulam® Beams and Columns are treated with Hoover Treated Wood Products Inc. Cop-Guard® formulation of Copper Naphthenate and covered by two 25-year warranties.
The glulam beam combination is 24F V5 M1, which is balanced with no camber at 3 1/2″ & 5 1/4″ widths at IJC depths and treated for exterior above ground use only. The Power Preserved Column® is treated for ground contact use at .075 pcf which qualifies for AWPA use categories 4A, 4B and 4C in a severe deterioration zone. Standard sizes of 3 1/2″, 5 1/4″, and 6 3/4″ widths are offered in Combination #50 which is #1 dense SYP lumber.
